The ClickTime system will be undergoing emergency maintenance on Sunday, January 10 at 12:00 noon Pacific Standard Time (GMT -08:00).

Explanation: As a result of network performance issues identified today, Saturday January 9, we are taking advantage of the weekend to accelerate equipment upgrades on our network which had been planned for February. The availability and security of the ClickTime system is our top priority. We sincerely apologize if this maintenance causes you any inconvenience.

As always, we welcome questions or concerns at support@clicktime.com or follow @clicktime on Twitter.

4:15 pm PST – Access to ClickTime is now restored. Some customers may experience a slight lag in response time while the network updates propagate.

3:00 pm PST – We are continuing to review network performance issues, and are currently in communication with our upstream providers. As soon as our tests are complete, we’ll be restoring access to a small number of customers as we work to resume normal service.

1:15 pm PST – We are in the process of replacing certain components of our network to resolve the issues identified earlier today.

12:15 pm PST – We are currently working to address performance issues upstream from our application.

10:15 am PST – We have temporarily redirected all site traffic to this ClickTime System Status page.

9:45 am PST – ClickTime is looking into general performance issues, which were identified at 9:15 AM PST, so some customers may experience difficulty accessing our site.

ClickTime and Browser Compatibility

We pride ourselves in maintaining ClickTime’s compatibility with the most current web browsers. We’re happy to announce compatibility with the recent updates to Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft’s Edge browser.

In order to keep ClickTime working smoothly, securely and to add new functionality, it becomes necessary to stop supporting the oldest browsers. Following in the footsteps of Salesforce and Microsoft, we are going to phase out support for the legacy version of Microsoft Edge. As of January 26, 2021, Microsoft Edge Legacy will no longer be supported for use with ClickTime.

Why is this happening?

  • Microsoft Edge Legacy was released in 2015 and was replaced with the new Chromium-based version of Edge in 2019. Microsoft will no longer be providing security updates for this legacy browser after March 2021 and we want to make sure our customers’ data is safe.
  • Our customers are moving to newer browsers. Use of Microsoft Edge Legacy by people in ClickTime has dropped dramatically over time.

What will happen if I don’t take action?

  • While people may still be able to access ClickTime using Edge Legacy, new and/or existing features and functionality will no longer be tested for compatibility with Edge Legacy.
  • Bugs or performance issues that exist only when using Edge Legacy will not be fixed after January 2021.

How can I determine which of my users are still using Edge Legacy?

If you’d like to verify whether your organization is affected by these changes, please contact us and request a list of people from your organization that recently signed-in with Edge Legacy, and our ClickTime Support team will be happy to assist you.

How can I get more information?
